Great Migration Tanzania

The awe of witnessing the Great Wildebeest Migration can be topped by only one thing: Seeing the migrating wildebeest calving.

Great Migration Tanzania

It is impossible to adequately describe the experience of being on the Serengeti Plains and seeing millions of Wildebeest and Zebra literally as far as the eye can see. A magnificent scene that has remained unchanged for millennia. No wonder it's described as one of the wonders of the natural world.
Our small group safaris cater of up to ten people and scheduled at the peak of the Great Migration calving season, when 500,000 young wildebeest are born in a matter of weeks. Furthermore the sheer volume of predators makes this an incredible safari. And best of all, there are very few tourists around in the Southern Serengeti making this the ideal time to view the migration herds.
Of-course Tanzania has a lot more to offer which is why we also include Tarangire National Park and lake Victoria in our itineraries.

We offer tailor made safaris and also our popular small group safaris that leave on set dates.
