Victoria Falls is quite simply a ‘must see’, awe-inspiring sight. Described as one of the seven natural wonders of the world, it offers both natural beauty and grandeur as the Zambezi River plummets over a width of nearly two kilometers, into a gorge over one hundred meters below.

On the evening of your first day at Victoria Falls we include a complementary sunset cruise on the Zambezi river, where you can enjoy local drinks and snacks while you watch for crocodiles and hippo as well as the abundant birdlife and large game such as Elephants that come to the river to drink at the end of the day.

Day 3
After breakfast at your hotel, you have the day to enjoy the magnificent Victoria Falls.
Victoria Falls presents a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River, forming the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It was described by the Kololo tribe living in the area in the 1800’s as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ – ‘The Smoke that Thunders’. In more modern terms Victoria Falls is known as the greatest curtain of falling water in the world.
You can take a guided walk to see the falls, but our advice is to walk the Vic Falls footpath under your own steam. The path from the entrance gate is clearly marked an you can read about the salient points on the info boards inside.
Day 4
After a leisurely breakfast and perhaps a last visit to the falls, you will transfer back to Victoria Falls airport for your return flight to Johannesburg. You will arrive in time for most of the onward international (overnight) long haul flights to Europe and USA.
