A message from your hosts Carol and Will

carolwil"Our time spent working in wildlife conservation has opened doors which allows us
to bring you a unique safari. We aim to blend game viewing with opportunities to
become involved in wildlife conservation, as well as having time to enjoy the ambience
of this magnificent continent. By combining these elements we hope to provide you
with a magical experience, full of memories; which will last you a lifetime".

Game viewing

We provide more than a 'canned safari' photo opportunity, governed by a regimented package deal . We give you the chance
to witness real life animal behaviour in a responsible manor, guided by one of the countries leading conservationists. Big
five game viewing normally takes place in the exclusive Sabi Sands game reserve and the Kruger National Park.

Safari Guides

gerrie2Our highly experienced guides aim to give you a wonderful bush experience. Our head ranger Gerrie Camacho has over twenty five years experience as a Game Ranger and Zoologist. His work with large predators is world renowned and he has appeared in many wildlife tv documentaries. Gerrie's knowledge of all things natural together with his engaging charm and enthusiasm for conservation, provides our guests with the experience of a lifetime.
We believe that your safari should not only provide the normal morning and evening style game viewing, but should be integrated with animal behaviour to provide a true life experience.

Rest and Relaxation

We recognise that international travel and early morning game drives can be tiring, and that time for relaxation
is very welcome. We therefore include time for some R&R at the exclusive Paperbark Bush Retreat.

Conservation

conservation1

The On Track staff have been associated with wildlife conservation projects for over twenty five years. We founded the Ingwe
Leopard Project and we're regularly engaged in large predator research. Our guests are afforded the opportunity of 'becoming
involved' in these activities (if they wish), gaining a wonderful insight into real life conservation. Of-course, by it's very nature
these activities are unpredictable and therefore we make no charge for this extra element. As a guide, this has previously
included: relocating large predators, live trapping animals for re-release and monitoring leopard behaviour via camera traps.
